Jeremy Liu
Executive Director, Asian Community Development Corporation
"Mary's success as the Director of Communications and Development at the Asian Community Development Corporation can be measured simply by the substantial growth of our organization's resources and mind share. Incredibly, she managed to sustain and grow a core grant fundraising program while adding special events and communications with limited staff resources. Her efforts enabled us to solidify important programs, while growing our staff from three to eight staff. She is a dedicated, passionate and creative talent with an invaluable set of skills and experiences for any organization."

Founder and Former Executive Director at Independent Arts & Media
"I can't recommend Mary Fuller too highly. She is extremely thorough, posses an agile intelligence that's quick to find the hidden angles and considerations of any problem, has truly unflagging energy and determination, and also is a true visionary when it comes to planning and strategizing. She can do numbers and finances like nobody's business. She can outline, write and edit pitches and proposals like the pro that she is. She's got an eagle eye for alliances and partnership-building. She brings a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that only multiplies her considerable talents. Superstar in the house! No, seriously -- Indy Arts would not have taken the remarkable strides it has without her support."

"Hope you're not sick of me singing your praises, but I really can't even tell you how big of a help you've been. This auction would be small potatoes without your help!"

Former supervisor at WBUR
Currently Associate Director of Development at Tufts University
“One of the things I admired most about Mary Fuller when she worked for me at 90.9 FM WBUR was the fact that she could be surrounded by chaos and keep focused on writing compelling, high quality grant proposals. Mary gets the big picture but isn't afraid to jump in and help where needed. She recognized we needed to build systems to help us track a large number of proposals, while simultaneously feeding the front-end of the sales cycle. Mary can write. She would match funders' interests with our needs and package it all in a manner that got results. Mary used what I would describe as a thoughtful organic approach to grant writing. She'd write in a way that helped funders discover for themselves that the wonderful radio programs, talented staff and valuable, in-depth information that was being provided to the community was worth supporting. She helped funding institutions connect with us in ways that made them decide they wanted to get closer, know more and re-visit the the scope of their financial commitment. Her work contributed in ways that is still bearing fruit. For that, all of us involved are grateful and owe her a debt of gratitude."
Iris Tan
Special Events Manager at Asian Community Development Corporation
"Under Mary Fuller's supervision, I learned to formulate strategic concepts for events and branding. She trained me to develop creative copywriting and designing skills for production of marketing materials. She also shared her enriching experience in database management, marketing campaigns and events management. She has strong leadership qualities and business acumen. What impressed me was her business management capability and efficient multi-tasking skills”.
Susan Sakash
Curator of the Public Art Incubator Program at the Berwick Research Institute
Associate Director of Development at RAW Art Works
"The Berwick misses Mary Fuller! Not only did Mary put into place many of the organizational structures that the Berwick desperately needed at a critical moment of transition, but she also had a knack for creating fantastic mission-driven events. The most successful of these was the Revolving Dinner, in which four groups of 12 guests each were led on foot through a circuit of four homes in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. Each house was designed to provide its own distinctive experience comprised of three main elements: art, food, and dialogue. From conception to execution, Mary remained conscious of how each facet of the event tied into the Berwick's larger mission of supporting emerging artists working in non-traditional media."
Shana Lee
Summer Intern, Asian Community Development Corporation
"Mary Fuller was a supportive and energetic supervisor during my 2007 summer internship at the Asian Community Development Center. Mary's work ethic, passion and drive for furthering ACDC's mission made her an excellent role model to observe and work with for the summer. She not only passed on her knowledge on the many facets of event planning, brand marketing and fundraising initiatives at a non-profit agency but she was also open and available to discuss the direction of the summer film festival whenever advice was needed. One of the things I valued most about Mary's supervision was her ability to offer guidance while allowing interns under her, like myself, the room to grow and learn on our own.
